The challenge

HC-One were looking to appoint a contractor who was able to deliver all things plumbing and heating for sites based in the North-East, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Humberside and Lincolnshire.

Key requirements

They required the peace of mind that they had a provider on a service level agreement (SLA) to cover their homes on a 4-hour emergency response basis.

Our solution

In February 2019, we were awarded a contract to carry out all Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance for plumbing and heating across HC-One’s facilities. Since then, HC-One has utilised our services for everyday maintenance and repairs on assets.

Our approach

We work closely with the care home group to deliver efficient and cost-effective plumbing and heating solutions, including:

Boiler room upgrades:  We have installed state-of-the-art boiler room equipment to ensure optimal heating and hot water supply for residents.

Heating system installs: Our Gas Safe accredited engineers have implemented energy-efficient heating systems to optimise temperature control and reduce energy consumption.

4-hour emergency response: Our rapid response is employed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are always on hand for any unforeseen emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to the lives of the residents.

Since 2019, we have consistently delivered for HC-One on projects big and small. Our engineers are acutely aware of the care sector environment. We are highly experienced and committed to delivering the right attitude and attributes for working alongside care home residents. This, coupled with their knowledge and expertise has contributed greatly to the success of this contract.
